My 27 year old  nephew who has Asper’s Syndrome has struggled with meal times since he turned 19 and no longer had the level of care he required.  He is a high funtioning person with Asperger’s which means he can do many things for himself but organizational details and social situations are difficult for him.  He was fortunate enough to get funding to attend SupperWorks once per month to prepare 4 meals.  This experience taught him about cleanliness, cross-contamination, organization, measuring, and more.  He has been able to add nutritious meals to his life and this has helped him in his pursuit of better health…he is now 50 lbs less that what he was.                                                           Karen A.
